I was driving in the car the other day, listening to K-Love, and there was a public service announcement about taking responsibility. I thought it was great and have been thinking about it ever since. So, naturally, I wanted to share it. I think there is a lot we can take from it that pertains to to how we treat our customers, vendors and co-workers. Here it is……..
The 5 A’s of Responsibility:
ADMIT that you made a mistake or were at fault.
APOLOGIZE for your action(s).
ACCEPT the consequences that come with those actions.
ASK for forgiveness.
ALTER your actions in the future.
We all make mistakes. But how you handle those mistakes speaks volumes about your character. So, the next time you make a mistake, follow the “5 A’s” and you, and those around you, will be glad that you did.
